Candice King is an American actress from America. She rose to the top of the Hollywood ladder following her role as Caroline Forbes, the lead character of The Vampire Diaries. Candice King first began her acting career during the beginning of the 1990s when she was a musician. It's always the innocent ones who are the most popular. United States was her debut album that was released in 2009. She wrote twelve out of the fourteen tracks on the album. Simultaneously she worked to develop her acting skills as well guest starring in a couple of shows including How I Met Your Mother and Greek. Although her acting career had progressed, she did not make a breakthrough before The Vampire Diaries. The show almost immediately made her a household name. Candice's acting performance was praised for her performance. She reprised her role for all the eight seasons of the show that lasted for 171 shows. Her role as a regular was portrayed on The Originals, a spin-off in 2018 and Legacies the 2021-based series.
